I've spent 20 years building software products. Now I'm building my own company, and I'm building it with AI agents.
After a year and change as CPTO at PtEverywhere, I stepped out of the day-to-day, stayed on as Strategic Advisor, and went full-time on Limeade Labs. The work there is two things: helping software companies put AI to work inside their own stack, and helping them put their product's value inside the AI tools their customers already use, through MCP.
The "Labs" part of the name is deliberate. Client work shows me where SaaS companies are actually struggling, and I build tools for that. The first is Clarabit, the MCP-first platform Limeade Labs itself runs on. The consulting sharpens the tools, and the tools sharpen the consulting.
I still run work on Shape Up: small teams, clear bets, and agents that do real work. I write about all of it at Focus Over Features. When I'm not shipping software, I'm playing bass in a cover band, syncing Christmas lights to music, or watching my kids discover the joy of making things.

A year-plus leading product and engineering for physical therapy practice management. Set an AI-focused product strategy around agentic customer flows, led a 37-person engineering team into agentic development, and shipped AI Scribe and Paige, an agent that takes action in the software on the therapist's behalf.
